Harp Workshops – Sunday May 10th 2026 – Dornie Community Hall, Ardelve, Kyle of Lochalsh, IV40 8DY
Join us right on the shores of beautiful Loch Duich next to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle!
‘Have-a-go’ harp! – for complete beginners or newbies to revise technique – Two seperate morning workshops from 10-11.30am and 12-1.30pm. Price £40pp per workshop.
Come and have a go at playing the harp or brush up on the basics if you’ve already started or are self-taught – bring your own harp or hire one of ours. In this light-hearted and fun 90 minute workshop we’ll cover finger technique, levers and tuning, and by the end of it we’ll all play a simple Scottish tune together. Coffee, tea and cake will be provided before and after the workshops and in the breaks. Come and meet other would-be harpists, and advice will be given on how to continue playing afterwards if you’re inspired to carry on.
Bring your own harp or reserve one to hire, spare harps will be extremely limited so please reserve one on booking.
