SUMMARY:Theatre at SBS: Perfect Dead Girls
DESCRIPTION:PERFECT DEAD GIRLS is a gruesome yet tender celebration of the joys and paranoias of girlhood\, and an exploration of how young women survive in systems that ask them to tear each other down. \nThere are three rules… \nYou can do anything you want\nYou can’t leave until they let you\nThey are always watching \nIn a purgatory plastered with graffiti\, glitter\, and teenage angst\, two young girls find themselves trapped after their sudden deaths only to discover that they are not alone: something else is here\, watching them\, deciding who gets to leave and who gets left behind. Haunted by their deaths and the lives they’ve lost\, the girls must battle each other and their own demons in a fragmented collage of memories\, music\, and Y2K pop culture to face what they’re truly willing to do to escape. \n  \nPERFECT DEAD GIRLS is recommended by us for ages 14+ \nContent warnings include: \nSwearing and strong language \nPotentially distressing or disturbing themes\, including suicide\, homicide\, \ngender-based violence\, sexual assault\, and body image \nScenes of violence \nFlashing lights / strobe \nPRESS REVIEWS \n“this hits the ground like a lightning bolt\, seeping into the \naudience slowly and wrenching at their hearts. It’s an absolute \nmust-see play” \n★★★★★ British Theatre Guide \n“A pocket rocket of a Fringe show… Grace and Robbins steer this \nship with perfectly orchestrated self-confidence” \n★★★★ The Wee Review \n“deeply thought-provoking and compelling… a heartbreaking \nshow… which keeps the audience utterly captivated and tense \nwith anticipation” \n★★★★ Theatre Weekly \nAUDIENCE REVIEWS \n“Ambitious and raw\, with an excellent grip on tone” \n“Was captivated from start to finish… an absolute unmissable piece of theatre.” \n  \n“Funny and harrowing in turn\, it ended on a pitch perfect note that really hit me.” \n“Perfect Dead Girls is the book you can’t put down. The TV show where you have to watch \nthe next episode right away. This show will have you laughing\, then crying\, then laughing \nagain\, then send shivers down your spine.” \n  \n“Riveting from the jump… this play presents a crucible for girlhood: merciless and real”. \n“Both girls do a tremendous job. Each thoroughly captivating in their respective roles. \nLaughing one minute\, crying the next. We hang on the girls’ every word\, and the ending is \njust perfect. Will see again. ” \n“Such an important subject and I hope to come and see it again if it tours the country!”

SUMMARY:SKYE BRIDGE THEATRE I Havisham
DESCRIPTION:Written and Performed by Heather Alexander \nDirection and Dramaturgy by Dominique Gerrard \nIf you knew my story\, your heart would break too… \n1825. A young woman\, newly liberated from the deep-rooted effects of an abusive childhood\, arrives in London. She is full of hope and ready to embrace a fresh start.  However\, she soon finds herself as ‘the leading lady in drama she can’t comprehend.’ The gaslighting is subtle\, the manipulation slick. Can Miss Havisham discern her fate? Or is she destined to relive the devastation of her trauma?
